Esthetic Smile Design

The evaluation of your lip posture, smile form and gingival architecture. Your new smile is then optimally created to enhance your facial anatomy. We define an ideal smile as one that has a repetition of tooth shape, color, line and texture; where the shape, size and position of the teeth are in harmony and relative symmetry to one another.

Gum Tissue Contouring

A “gummy” smile, (one where gum tissue makes teeth look short), or an uneven gum line can be corrected by contouring the gum tissue. This procedure is often performed during complex smile cases where excessive display of gum tissue is a detriment to a full smile.

Smile Whitening

A whiter, brighter smile begins with a shade evaluation. Existing dental restorations will not change color when the bleaching gel is applied so we incorporate whitening procedures to create uniform color between natural and restored teeth. The treatment of choice may be the whitening of one or several teeth, or possibly only portions of individual teeth.

Our shading system includes the evaluation of:

Hue - The actual color of a tooth or restoration.
Chroma - The saturation intensity of the color of the tooth or restoration.
Value - The lightness/brightness level of a tooth or restoration.
Translucency - The characteristic of the high degree of light penetration through a tooth or restoration.
Opacity - The characteristic of the low degree of light penetration through a tooth or restoration.

We offer 2 whitening options!

Whiten in our office – in about an hour!

Whiten on the go – wherever you want!

Bonding

New, constantly evolving dental materials fuse to your teeth and create a strong and durable bond, almost like your natural enamel. It is a simple, fast procedure, that allows re-contouring and shade changing with little or no tooth reduction. Spaces in your smile can be eliminated! In one visit you can have a beautiful new smile.

Bonding is also a broader term used in cosmetic dentistry. Porcelain veneers, crowns and inlays/onlays are all bonded to the teeth. Bonding allows the new restorative material to fuse with the teeth: essentially making the new material and the natural tooth one strong, almost natural structure.

Instant Orthodontics - Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are one of cosmetic dentistry’s most exciting treatment options! Veneers are thin, hand-sculpted pieces of dental porcelain that fit over your teeth. They allow us to change shape, size, shade and surface characteristics predictably. Deep, tetracycline stains are removed from a smile with this procedure. Veneers can also eliminate unsightly gaps and spaces between teeth, and magically “straighten” crooked teeth.

Invisible Fillings

Composite material matches the color of your natural teeth. They are virtually invisible, metal free and decrease tooth cracking. Composites strengthen teeth by forming a bond that reinforces the tooth from every angle.

Porcelain Inlays, Onlays

Porcelain inlays/onlays strengthen teeth by avoiding the traditional radical removal of tooth surface. They eliminate the dark shadows associated with silver fillings, leaving your smile looking entirely natural.

Porcelain Bridges

Porcelain bridges are metal free bridges that look completely natural and never shown an ugly “gray metal line”. They restore your teeth to look like Mother Nature created them!

Porcelain Crowns

Crowns fit over a recently repaired tooth and are a natural looking alternative to silver or gold “caps”. State-of-the-art materials give porcelain crowns an incredibly long lasting quality and like-like beauty.
